Peter T. Proctor is a Kansas-based artist and educator creating hand-painted oil portraits intended as physical heirlooms.  

His portrait work emphasizes likeness, tonal structure, limited color, painterly surface, and expressive edges. The goal is not simply to reporduce an image, but to create a painted interpretation with presence, touch, and permanence.

Peter's background includes public school art education, portrait painting, illustration, character design, and a PreK-12 visual art teaching endorsement.

Peter lives with his wife and their three children.
